Athletics Coach (CiA, Level 1) Job Description Responsible to Chesterfield and District AC Management Committee Main Duties To maintain high ethical standards in coaching, and sign up to the  "UK Athletics, Code of Ethics" To assist in the delivery of coaching sessions, at Queens Park Annexe, Brookfield school and other venues as directed by the clubs committee, times to be agreed on an annual basis To ensure that their knowledge, skills and qualifications are kept up to date. To undertake appropriate training such as Child protection, First Aid and others at the discretion of the club committee. To prepare coaching sessions on a weekly basis, and to keep registers of athletes attendance. To inform the club coaching co-ordinator in advance of any sessions that cannot be attended. To attend coaches meetings as advised To give regular feedback to the club coaching co-ordinator on an ongoing basis. To assist in the selection of teams. To attend league meetings and competitions as required.
